32 Harem-Sareoul-MC Hammer "You Call It" Pant Pattern {Basic/Nautical Version}

Alrighty... are you ready for more versions of these cool pants?
Oh yeah, baby!
You know you want it... especially when it's
FREE!
This pattern includes the nautical version with oversized pockets, perfect to stash every little thing a sailor could need (including mushy string cheese from lunch). Here's a few more views of this design in a previous post HERE and HERE.
If the seas make you queasy, you can always go basic. Basic is really just the name of the pant. Nothin' basic as far as style is concerned!
Can't decide which one to make? That's easy...
make a 2 in 1!
From sailing the seven seas to keeping it simple to rockin' it out, one thing's for sure... your kid's got style.
The fashion police has nothin' on you!
So go HERE for the PDF pattern and instructions and get sewin'!
DON'T FORGET to post your pants HERE and leave me a comment. I love reading comments (I ain't gonna lie), it beats talking to myself.
Enjoy!

    1. Hi Yeka! The 4T accommodates a child with a waist up to 22' and hip up to 24 1/4". It's a very generous fit and if your son wears 4 or even a 5, he can fit these pants. You may have to lengthen the inseam if he's a fairly tall kid. Which version are you planning on doing?

    2. Hi Venus, noted about your 4T measurement. It seems he can wear it but I'll check again his measurement later. I maybe just want to try simple version without pocket like the green one above. I'll show pictures of this sareoul first, he's quite a picky boy! Let's see if he likes it, but his mom is trying to create Justin Bieber style on him! hihihi...
      Thanks again, Venus!

    1. Oh my gosh... I can just see K dancing around in a pair. K seems to be a bigger than a 4T, but it's a generous fit. I think the only thing you may have to do is just lengthen the inseam.

      "Go K! Go K! Go-go-go!!!"

  11. Super cute. I love harem pants, you can almost make it from any type of fabric, and they are so forgiving and easy/fast to make:)

  12. Hi hi, love the look of these. Is there Amy particular fabric that you recommend making these from?

    1. Hi Carly! You can use any light to medium weight woven fabrics. The lighter, the better the drape. You could even use knits (using the basic version). Hope this helps! :)
